After six years of business in the Nine Streets and daily contact with clients, Marlies Otten found exactly what was missing: "I regularly meet women in search of dresses, a good blazer, a classic sleeve skirt or a beautiful top for work or special occasions. They like to be dressed well, but can not easily find something that's not too business or too rigid. "On September 18, 2014, Amsterdam opened her doors. Marlies Otten focuses on women who consider it important to present themselves well. The fashion must-haves of RUM are the essential items that every woman must have in her closet; easy to combine and fit in any wardrobe.
RUM Amsterdam performs a selection of various Scandinavian brands such as Sibin/Linnebjerg, Co'Couture, Notes du Nord, By Malene Birger, Pavement, Anine Bing, Bandhu, Anonymous Copenhagen, but also other European brands such as the Dutch label Dante6, French ba&sh and the amazing Greek designs of Devotion.

Pure Brands (PERMANENTLY CLOSED)
Pure Brands was founded in 2006 as an agency by Marlies Otten and on April 15, 2009 she opened her first boutique in the hard of the 9 streets. Driven by her passion for beautiful and natural materials and the love to make people feel beautiful, she looked for brands with a focus on quality and sustainability to present in her boutique.
Due to the mix of Dutch (including Humanoid, Moscow, Knit-ted, No Man's Land) with Scandinavian (including Second Female, Lolly's Laundry, Minus, Hunkydory, Mödstrom, Henriette Steffensen, La Fée Maraboutée) brands, all timeless basics can be found at Pure Brands as well as the trend items of this season.
